Another value at New Life is to give of our time and talents. There are many ways to participate in what God is doing whether serving on one of our ministry teams or volunteering beyond the walls of New Life.
Are you ready to jump in and find out more about getting involved? Here are a few ways to get started:
Team Frontline
Do you love helping others feel welcome and a part of what is going on? Team Frontline offers flexible options for serving: weekly to once a month. From greeting people at the entrances, directing cars in the parking lot, providing spiritual growth tools at the Resource Center, serving as an usher or helping people find their way around, Team Frontline allows you to help make a difference and have fun serving. Hub Hosts & Meeters
A great way to connect with people at the church is to host an electronic Check In Hub. Join the team to help welcome families, check in children, point them in the right direction and connect them to the church. If you're interested, contact Pastor Brooks Rice who will help you get trained on a Hub and then get you on the schedule!
Connexus Cafe
You'll have fun learning the art of espresso beverages and Italian sodas and providing them at each service. If you want to learn this art or already have the skills and want to serve, Contact Pastor Susan Boucard | 425.212.4113 to discuss joining the team.
Children
Do you have a heart for cuddling babies, playing and singing with children, and teaching Bible stories using story-telling or puppets? Children’s Ministry is a super fun environment with multiple opportunities to serve: from media support and playing instruments to loving kids with special needs and helping with big events & camps. Production Team
Do you enjoy the presentation on Sundays through video, sound and cameras? Every week, volunteers work as a team to film the service, project images, lyrics, text & videos on the big screens, direct backstage, and more. Choir
Do you enjoy singing and want to enhance your skills? The New Life choir leads worship several times a year and is a great entry point into serving with Worship teams. To inquire, contact Pastor Don Garberg.
Music
Do you have instrumental skills and an interest in working with other musicians to lead worship sets in service? Contact Pastor Don Garberg | 425.212.4121.
Administrative Help
Do you have a knack for office projects, bulk mailings, organizing, doing whatever is needed? There are always projects that need extra hands and feet. If you have a couple hours here or there or on a weekly basis, consider providing administrative help at New Life. To discuss your availibility and interests, contact Terry Holt | 425.355.9330.
